Holy Week at Home

We had a very blessed Holy Week, primarily at home this year due to the corona virus!

There were so many great resources available for activities to do with the kids.  I listed the ones we used at the end of the post :)

Palm Sunday - pictures to color & pussy willows (that's what they use in Austria instead of palms)

Last Supper family dinner on Holy Thursday...



Francis insisted that we have "bread and beer" like Jesus did on Passover... he meant "wine" instead of beer, but he's Austrian - what can I say?!  We let the kids try a sip of wine.  Francis said, "I like it."  Ellie took a sip and said, "Francis, how can you say you like it?"  Francis takes another sip, "Actually, I don't."  Ellie takes another sip and said, "I guess I do like it."  (But clearly they did not - at least this year ;)



After dinner, we took turns washing one another's feet.  It's our second year doing this and the kids really like this tradition.





Good Friday - I tried to make hot cross buns...



Friday for dinner we had soup & Thorn of Crowns bread :)





By Easter Sunday we had a wall / prayer corner filled with all our projects!
