Clare’s Baptism

We were so blessed to celebrate Clare's Baptism today (August 15, 2019) on the Solemnity of the Assumption of Mary!!

Fr. Seraphim performed the ceremony during Mass in the Sacred Heart Chapel at the Kartause.

We were joined by our wonderful neighbors and the four TOR Sisters who are in Gaming this year! My mom was there as well - and she was the proxy for Clare's godparents, Mike and Denise!

It was a wonderful, blessed day!

Welcome to the Church, Clare!

Welcome Home, Clare!

We welcomed Clare to the world on Monday, August 5!

After two warm nights in the hospital (it was about 80 degrees during the day, no air conditioning -- but the nights with the windows open were OK!) - we headed home on Wednesday, August 7!  Here's a glimpse of Clare's first week at home:

August 7, leaving the hospital...

We were all welcomed home to our beautifully decorated front door!

The kids were excited to have Clare home!

Isaac immediately wanted to say Mass for "the baby"!

Ellie was excited to change into their "matching" pajamas!

Francis commented that Clare looked like a "slug"!

On August 8, Clare had her hip ultrasound (something they do regularly in Austria) - her hips looked good :)

August 9, lots of cute looks at home :)

Saturday, August 10, Clare's first walk to Spar, followed by lunch at the Keller!

Sunday, August 11, we all enjoyed a BBQ in the townhouse backyards - hosted by our wonderful neighbors!

Monday, August 12, starting to notice how full our hands (and legs) are with four little ones, but also that our hearts are very full!

August 14, Clare's first bath at home!

We're so glad you're home, Clare!! We love you!
