Clare celebrated her first half-birthday! She helped unwrap toys that we already own that her sibling had wrapped in paper on the eve of her ‘big day’. And on her half-birthday, February 5 (the nine year anniversary of when Brian and I first spoke to one another) we got two guinea pigs! Snowflake and Brownie. (Francis wanted to name her Brownies but we convinced him to drop the ‘s’).
Clare continues to be a chill baby who loves to watch her siblings, be with mom and dad, swim, wear mom’s old shirt (chipmunk cheeks) and travel (she’s flown to Italy & Spain, traveled by car to Hungary — yet to visit America, though she is an American citizen).
We love our little Clarey Beary, Clarey Canary, “Bear”, MaryClare Kissinger :)
