Brian's birthday present during the coronavirus pandemic was time alone to hike the Ötscher mountain.
Hiking up the mountain should have taken at least 2.5 hours to the top, but he did it in less than 1.5!
I wanted him to take beautiful pictures... and this is what I get:
Yes, that's a dead mole. The kids especially loved his claws.
But thankfully, he also took a few more pictures!
On his actual birthday, we had a great time gardening, eating kebabs, ice cream pie & homemade General Tsao's Chicken! And watching This Is Us... which is only a little awkward because Brian and I are both 38 now, and "the Big 3" are 39! But we still enjoy it :)
The best part about Brian's birthday being a week after Francis' and them both being named Brian Francis is the birthday signs still hanging up are easy to change ;)
