We were blessed to travel to Rome and Assisi with a group of about 30 FUS students here for the Summer Session!
Brian, Isaac, Clare, me, and the baby boy in my womb were the ones who went to Italy. We have wonderful neighbors who watched Francis and Ellie, who are in school until July 2. Only traveling with half our kids really was a different experience — the half who can fit in the double-stroller — it all worked out well!
The highlight of the trip was the kids' meeting Pope Francis, but here are pictures of our other fun adventures in Rome:
First stop: coffee, doughnuts, and the nearby park!
Masks were required everywhere, including outdoors. (Thankfully, young kids don’t really need to wear them!)
