We had an awesome family day at the beach!
A week after our return to Austria, and fully adjusted to the time change, we went to the town of Attersee on Lake Attersee. It is in the biggest lake in Austria (that is all within Austria, that is). It’s two hours from our home. And it’s absolutely gorgeous! The water is crystal clear and looks blue from the surface! Sailboats were everywhere, and the mountains surrounding us were stunning!
The kids loved swimming in the lake, going down the slides and off the diving part, taking out a paddle boat and playing at the sandy playground. We were at a pay beach (only €13 for our family) that had an indoor/outdoor pool and an open sauna area, which was heavenly after being in the lake! We were some of the last to leave and even then it was hard to go!
We’re so blessed to be home in Austria! 🇦🇹 ❤️
