It's that time of year in Gaming... when everything really does look like a Hallmark Christmas Movie... well, except for the Krampus ;)
We celebrated Nikolausfest at Ellie's kindergarten. She was SUPER excited and proud to have both of her brothers there! She kept her arm wrapped around Francis and kept reminding him that he'll be at school with her next year. And she reminded Isaac that the last time he was here he was still in Mom's tummy and couldn't see anything (yup, that's when I was 40 weeks & 9 days pregnant... he was born less than 24 hours after that visit to the school :)
Francis dressed as a reindeer and helped me delivery some St. Nicholas Day goodies to our neighbors!
Today St. Nicholas arrived at the Kartause's Advent Market pulled by several Krampus. The Christkindl accompanied him and they both handed out goodies as the Krampus posed for pictures with the Austrian babies. Obviously, we had to join them!
With Christmas trees for sale, booths selling hot chocolate and other wintry delights, and snow piling up all around -- it really does feel like we live in a Christmas movie this time of year!
But the Sisters keep on reminding us it's Advent ;) We love having the TOR Sisters here with us!
And we love having our niece Katie here!
I really can't believe it's our third winter here... I was just looking back at our experiences with St. Nicholas and the Krampus last year (
story one and
story two) and
two years ago when Francis was Isaac's size!
Now onto the second week of Advent!! God bless!
