Guinea Pigs to Frogs

2020 has been the year of many things... including our first time owning pets!

On February 5, we welcomed home our first two pets - guinea pigs: Snowflake and Brownie.

Sadly, on Mother's Day, Snowflake passed away.  And on June 27, Brownie also passed away.

Happily, on June 27, we brought home tadpoles and frog-lets! :)

Update: On July 1, the froglets and tadpoles were returned to nature! 

Burgruine Gallenstein Castle

What do you do after you spend all day at an amazing water adventure park?  Just stop by the castle 5 minutes away!

I love driving around here, and often you can see old castles or churches up in the hills!  It was so fun just to stop by and explore and take in the stunning views!

Water Adventure Park in St. Gallen

We visited the beautiful, fun “water adventure” park about an hour from our home yesterday!

With fifty or so little stations all around the park, we all had a blast! Our favorite part was riding in kayak and going down the mini waterfalls!

After spending the day there we stopped by a castle just five minutes away! 

It was a magical Austrian day :)
